The Oscar-winning actress - who is known for her classic and sophisticated style - was given the prestigious accolade by People magazine, with the publication stating it was impressed with her simple fashion choices. Gwyneth's stylist, Elizabeth Saltzman, said the 39-year-old mother-of-two was not a slave to trends, adding, "She doesn't do fringe. She has a uniform. It's simple, not overdone."
Britain's Duchess of Cambridge was named the woman with the Best Classic Style, while Emma Stone was honored with having the Best Red Carpet Style. Kristen Stewart has been voted the world's best dressed woman.
The Twilight actress topped a poll by Britain's Glamour magazine and was praised by the publication for her progression from "awkward teen to style queen" and for always being "effortlessly on-trend."
Kristen beat last year's winner Emma Watson, with the Harry Potter star managing a respectable second place while Victoria Beckham came third. The singer-turned-fashion designer shot up 12 places from last year with the magazine praising the "adorable co-ordinating looks" she shares with "her new favorite accessory" - nine-month-old daughter Harper.
Britain's Duchess Catherine was honored for her classic and stylish fashion sense with fourth place. "The Duchess of Cambridge's classic elegance has set the high street alight, causing both Zara and Reiss to sell out of her favorite pieces," the magazine said.

Olsen Twins Are Vogue’s Best Dressed
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, News,
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been named among the world's best dressed women, by US Vogue. The designer siblings grace the cover of this month's best dressed supplement, which pays tribute to their style as well as other famous sisters, including Duchess Catherine and Pippa Middleton, Beyonce and Solange Knowles and Dakota and Elle Fanning.
"It's been a year of sisters, most famously with Catherine and Pippa Middleton. Their style is short enough to be impossible for an older-generation royal to wear, long enough to be decent when sitting or bending down to talk to a child. But are there any more chic, stylish, cool, and original sisters than Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen? They are incredibly stylish," said Mark Holgate, Vogue Fashion News Director and Editor of the Best Dressed issue.
"I feel like Mary-Kate's constantly evolving. What she does is when she finds a proportion or a silhouette or a specific outfit, she'll wear it until she's over it - which could be a week or it could be a year," Ashley said of her sister's style.
Mary-Kate added about Ashley, "There's always sort of a sense of a bohemian vibe. She's quirky, modern, bohemian."

Kelly Osbourne Slams Kate Middleton
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, News,
E!'s fashion police correspondant Kelly Osbourne has criticized the newly-crowned Duchess of Cambridge on her knack for recycling fashions.
"In England they are like look how thrifty she's [Kate Middleton] being, showing the British public that the Royals are in a recession as well. Only in this country they call it a faux pas," Osbourne said on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Osbourne spoke in regards to the dress Kate wore to Zara Phillips' royal wedding this month, which she had previously worn in 2006.
"Well I'm sorry but if I had that job I would only wear it once. If I am going to be the future bloody Queen of England I'm going to wear that dress once because I'm giving up the rest of my life, all of my privacy, at least I can get a new dress every day."
Perhaps this is why Kelly is not the future Queen of England! I am personally all about being thrifty and opting to reuse and/or restyle clothing that I like -- why can't Kate? Not that I'm a huge fan of the future queen's style, but recycling clothes over lavishly spending copious amounts of money on new ones is a plus in my book!
